A sweater for the little one — 3 weeks ago
In purple and black! And one more coming. Sweater that is, not little ones.

Kate is doing my best.
I sort of cheated on this one—when I was moving a couple months ago, I gave nearly all of my yearn to a friend of mine. I’m pretty sure she will use it, and much faster than I would’ve. I still have a little bit of yarn left, but I haven’t knit that yet.
I think this will be a forever goal—just make sure I knit it all up before I die. I like the last issue of knitty.com where one of the articles counsels that we have pride in our stash. It is lovely.
My major progress has been putting up all my stash and projects, as well as planned projects, into ravelry.com. Love that website!
I offer gifts but no one wants them.
It looks like I’ll be covered from head to toe in my own creations.

I’ve found a fun and fast pattern for mittens on two needles and made a pair of yellow baby mittens.
however, I have a long way to go on knitting/crocheting all the yarn I have. Right now I am working on a baby blanket for my new nephew!
I actually didn’t buy a lot of this yarn. It was given to me by others and I’ve added to it over the course of 18 months. Still, I’m going to knit it all and in any way I can. I’ve already got the “Gift List” lined up for friends of mine.
I made something already for my bestest and longest time friend (at this point sister in all but blood). I’m going to start working on my other bestest and second longest time friends gifts as well as gifts for his family as soon as I finish this current project.
Still, my storage container overfloweth right now. It’s 58 quarts and it’s well over overflowing. I have to get this stuff minimized via knitting and hopefully selling.
Worth doing!
Can’t think of what to do with all that extra yarn. Simply hats and scarves, no matter how ugly, can benefit those less fortunate. Find a local mission, church group, or even international mission that can help you spread the joy.
Step 1 for this goal is to stop buying yarn. If I keep buying yarn, then I’ll never finish this goal. I’m going to use my random leftover yarn to make a blanket for WarmUpAmerica.
