    Worth doing!

I feel much more organized now! I think I can actually start knocking things off the list rather than planning and dreaming to do so. Productivity rules!

There are still a few goals on there that are a bit ambiguous, but I don’t have an immediate plan for those because I don’t want to work on every goal at once, and everyone needs a dream or two.

If I can keep over half of my goals SMART I’ll be a happy woman.

EDIT: I’ve also re-ordered my goals so that the ones I want to do this summer are at the top, this year are next, before college is over is after that, and the long term ones are at the bottom.

    Worth doing!

It’s cheesy, but it makes sense. I want to make each of my goals specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely.

The goals like “graduate with a 3.0 or higher” are SMART. It clearly states what I want to do, gpa is more than measurable, I know I can get a B average or above, and it’s pretty realistic, and graduation is a clear deadline.

On the other hand “stop procrastinating” is none of the above.

I’m hoping this helps clear those goals that have been up on my list since I started using 43 things.

I think 43 Things is such a fantastic site, and Rachel and I are constantly talking about things we need to do on it. I’d like my goals to be a little more relevant to me now, so I feel a bit better about what I’m working on.
