Such a treat. A brilliant barber and a splendid cut. With longer hair there’s so much more to work with. I feel as though I have a proper haircut now. It’s more than the traditional short back and sides.

It was getting a bit long and heavy and (!) hot at the back. Now it all just falls into place.

Had it cut twice. Much more manageable now. It was getting to the wooly sheep stage which just becomes a nuisance. It’s floppy now. It was much longer but seems like a proper hair do now, not just the regular chap’s short back and sides. It has given me a bit more self confidence.

Also I thin it’s fun. When it becomes too long I might chop it off again. Otherwise, might just keep it for a few years and then perhaps try short again. Choices, eh, such choices.

At a recent wedding. I think I might have been the only man with hair on his head. I seem to be a bit of a rarity now!

Time for a chop? 2 years ago

It’s wooly, it’s heavy and it takes for ages to dry. It’s interesting to see how it has changed as it has grown longer. But now I think it’s time to get my hair into shape again. Perhaps chop a bit off. Especially at the back. Of course it would help if you could see what it looks like now!

After long and arduous patience I finally saved up a it of spare change and nipped into the hair dressers. Didn’t have it cut. Noh. Just a quick trim. It’s a bit less full now and more manageable. And lots have commenting on it looking quite good a bit longer. It’s still far, far from the shoulder but much more casual and less short. And probably one of the least worries at the moment. Ha.

Watch the hair flip 2 years ago

Soon I can promote shampoo on tv.

It goes through phases, I want to chop it off, cut it shorter, cut it, then I leave it. As it gets longer it falls into place. It becomes easier. That’s fun. It’s interesting to see how it changes as it grows. I wonder how long I will be able to manage.

Mind you, washing is taking a bit more time. Plus the hair gel stuff, it needs some sticking.

I have never done this before. Plus when it gets longer it becomes a tad unmanageable. But it’s fun. I am curious to see what will happen, what it will look like and if I can stand it.

What’s also interesting is to find how it changes as it grows longer.

I have always had it short, so not having is already something of a change.

That should be about 6” more of growth, bringing it down to just above my waist. I’ve wanted this (on and off) for my whole life. Long hair is so beautiful : )P
