Remember the feeling of utter joy you got when you learned you could jump a ca at 40mph and (depending on the card) land safely? The feeling of waking up and knowing that others cared what you were doing that day? Feeling awkward but exicited cause that kind you think is awesome finally noticed you somehow? Yeah. I want to feel that again.

Ah 2009 – you threw me a curveball..

As with all curveballs come opportunities. I resolve to define and record my joy in 2009, as well as to incorporate more, so much more, into my life and the lives of those I love.

no one wants joy?!

Cleared and cleaned my closet today, which included getting rid of three huge bags of clothes that were either 1) too big (yes, too big!!), 2) ill-fitting, 3) haven’t worn in a long while and probably won’t again. Off to Goodwill they went!

I organized my remaining clothing, shoes and jewelery so the closet is visually more calming and frankly, I can find my stuff again.

I feel so free and clear-minded, it’s amazing. As my closet is uncluttered, so is my mind.

Ah, joy.
