How I did it: Today me and my friends went swimming. Me and the guys my age decided to go deeper. I asked one other friend, who was four years younger than me to stay back, because further the water was extremely too deep. He nodded, so we went deep. I took a look at my friend from time to time to see if he's OK, then one moment I saw him swimming towards us. At first it looked OK, but after a moment i noticed that he was struggling very hard and he was asking for help non stop. I started swimming towards him and told another friend to swim with me just in case. The younger friend grabbed on to me as if he was trying to climb on. I told him to calm down, because if he wouldn't, he would push us both down. I took him out to shallow water afterwards. Turned out that he was trying to swim to us, but he choked on water and got afraid because of the depth.

I’ve been kind of a jerk to some of my friends lately just because it’s what seemed cool. Now, when my old friends don’t trust me anymore I realized how much we’ve been through together and how they’ve been there for me and then I just disrespected them like that… I just want to show them that I’m ready to help, to be there for them.

Me and my best friend have always been there for each other. We both know that we can call each other at 3am, and the other person will listen and help us out. She is the only person that i can talk to about anything. There are somethings that you just can’t talk to a boyfriend or family member about. She really is the best friend ever, and I just hope we will always remain this way.
I want to be there for them as much as they are here for me. I will go out of my way for a friend. But I want to do more than that. I want to be there when they need me no matter what. I love her
but making sure I’m there when needed is important. It brings everyone closer, and who doesn’t need a good friend? I’ve built a couple of bridges with friendships that had dwindled a bit recently, and it feels good. I don’t know if this is a goal you can ever truly complete, but it’s a good attitude to have I think.
I keep getting really cuaght up with work, and often when I come home, I’m shattered and I hardly see anyone anymore. I need to fix this.
I’m always there for my friends. No questions asked. Just there. Present.
It is all about having mates and being there for eachother. IN my case it is my friends from school days, places of work and most recently my Cool Running friends.
I have known my best friend since we whereboth three years old, and she is recovering from cancer. I want to be there for her to the fullest now as much as ever.
That’s always been me. and now despite i gotta split my time threeway i still want to be there for ‘em to the fullest. Helping friends and being there for them. Because if you can’t be there for those you like and love who will? so I want to be alongside them everyday in happiness and darkness. Gonna be hard but… hey, a Jedi got his work cut out for him…
