Well, I live in a pretty large city, but I hardly ever leave my house as it is. I don’t think I’ve left the house more than even 10 times this year.
I enjoy being alone and having a few quality friends.

Interesting

Ive had problems being among people for almost as long as i can remember
being over sensitive i just cant take going out that often so i guess my reclusiveness is a result of psychological circumstances
(of course its probably made me more crazy than i already am)
its been difficult but now i wonder how i could ever stop living the way i do.
The only thing that is hard is the soul crushing lonlieness
but its true, you really get to know yourself.
I feel so different from other people, its strange

Most people believe I am in Brazil working as a Catholic missionary for the indigenous poor. Not quite.

I lived on a shack on a river in BC for six months, no electricity or running water, and right now I live on a farm in Southern alberta. I do have a job, friends and boyrfriend but I live alone and am alone most of the time. All my relationships are long didtance, even my work friend lives 40ks away. You learn a lot about yourself, even if you fel like you’re in the witness protection program. No tv either. I love it.

Being a recluse is interesting for a while, but if you’re like me you’ll begin to see that the world demands more from you than a cloistered existence. Spending time alone, getting comfortable with silence, and learning to rely on yourself are all very important skills you can gain as a recluse. Once you have mastered these, you will be better equipped to make a difference “out there.” You just may find that you have an obligation to act not just observe

Due to the fact that I am a recluse and therefore my social life exists solely on the Internet, this has wreaked havoc on my complexion (see latest entry about acne). Consequently, I have decided to be a recluse no longer. Every Friday, I will now do some sort of sport activity. In a public place! crowd gasps
However, it was worth doing, simply because I now know that I don’t like being depressed and staying in constantly!

...Staying in is the new going out! Plus with all the work I have to do for my AS levels, I might as well stay in. Thank god for the Internet!
