    Zeitgeist is a German word that we use because there is not English equivelant. It literally means “time ghost”, so it refers to sort of the “spirit of the times”.

    Two syllabols:
    Zeit-geist.

    Zeit- rhymes with ‘fight’.

    -geist … hmmm … lemme think.
    Imagine pronouncing ‘rice’ with a ‘t’ at the end: ricet. Just one syllabol. Now take off the ‘r’ and replace it with a hard ‘g’ (hard ‘g’ as in ‘great’ rather than soft ‘g’ as in ‘German’.)
