raise a kid of my own.
Either my own or adopted.
Before I’m 35.
How I did it: I got pregnant by surprise. I knew that I would one day want children, and my husband and I had it all planned. We were gonna wait a few year... God had other plans. I got pregnant 6 months after we got married.
After three months of morning sickness, being on bed rest the last three months of my pregnancy, 27 hours of labor followed by a c-section, and the weight I just can't seem to get off, I have decided that I would do it all over again. I love my son so much!
Lessons & tips: You can't plan life. Life diversifies and makes its own path. God is always in control

My wife and I had been married nearly six years. I think after about 2 years we wanted a kid, but it took another 3 more years, as I believe God had plans for us to wait. I went to Korea to teach for about 6 months, then about a month later, when I returned, she was pregnant!
I am so excited. I thought of this list today and some things I am well on my way to accomplishing. I will get on here soon and update this plus put a new pic up.
valleysailor saw Bruce Springsteen and it was totally AWESOME!!!!!!!
Parenting can be one of the most challenging undertakings on earth especially if you are doing it alone as I did, but worth every gray hair and every minute of lost sleep. You will know it’s worth it when they appear before you at age 34 and say “thanks for being such a great mom, I love you”.
Amy both kids took 3 hour naps today! :)
was the best thing I ever did!
I can’t imagine doing this without my wife, but having 2 of us around to help out makes it better. Either way, it is a lot of work. I look forward to seeing our little girl develop into a good citizen and strong young woman. I’m already setting goals in my head for her development towards a well adjusted life.
