Well first i’ll tell everyone what is going on…
I’m 21 years old and me an my partner have just started trying for a baby, we went to the doctors because my period hadnt come for three months and i had symptoms of been pregnant. As it turned out i have PCOS (polycystic ovaries), this may not sound to critical but to me it is, the condition is where small cysts form on the ovaries and stop ovulation, in my case it doesnt allow my body to produce eggs, other side affects are hair growth, acne, cramps, hot sweats and more, in some cases it causes heart disease and diabetes. The worst case senario is some women even find that they are more at risk of cancer.
Now i am particulary worried as cancer has already effected my mum and i dont want to go down the same road, i am booked in to see a specialist on the 5th october but i want to loose weight before i get there and carry on loosing weight after i see her because this can reduce this risk of everything i have mentioned above.
My partner is 31 and e desperatly want to share our love with a child so loosing weight is the first step before i see the specialist
thanks guys
