Run through the Seattle Center fountains

WIWAK, you weren’t supposed to do run through the International Fountain. We did it anyway. Further, when I was in high school I climbed to the top of the fountain-y thing in the winter and kissed my boyfriend. That was a long time ago.

For what it’s worth, during Folklife 1985, I danced in the fountain at the Mural Ampetheater in just my camisole. It was sort of a celebration of liberation from living in uptight Japan, where such an action would have been completely unthinkable.

Nowadays, it’s OK to run through the fountains. All it takes is a hot day and a willingness to get wet. 5 years ago

hm ive always wanted to do it and almost did it at bumbershoot this year but I didnt want to be soaking wet and freezing cold at midnight when the concert was over lol 5 years ago
