and now a small room of my place is devoted to developing medium format! freestylephoto was a great resource for all of my supplies.
and yeah, getting the film on the spool is a major pain. i made the mistake of getting flimsy plastic ones -sigh.
but i have officially developed my first roll of medium format film. the only difficult part of the process was actually getting the film on the spool. that did no go very easy and i actually messed up a few of the shots. still i was able to get a few decent shots out of the roll and thus this goal is through.
i went out and shot a roll of expired black and white film that i bought from kadairs for half price. i started to develop it and upon re-reading the instructions i realized the film was kodak bw400cn which requires c-41 processing. i am set up for black and white processing and thus i wasn’t able to do anything. i’m buying some more film tomorrow and starting again..
the supplies i ordered for processing my film finally arrived today. i’ll take some shots today and tomorrow and develop my first roll by thursday.
i’m still waiting on my order. when i receive the processing supplies i’ll try my first roll.
i order the supplies necessary to develop medium format film. i’ll try developing some next week.
