pay off my car

less than 2k to go! i hope to have this off my back by october!

Only $1,597.00 left. Basically, 3 more payments to go….I’m so close. I should be done October 17.

After 2 years of paying my sister 200.00 a month for her exquiste Honda Accord EX she’s all mine. I have a lot of pride in my accomplishment because of the time it took me to comfortably pay off my car. I’m the 1st in my group to pay for my own car myself.

I may have paid 5,000 for her but the pride I feel is priceless!

Only nine hundred bucks left to go

i have five years, but i’d like to get it done in less. i figure out if i pay an extra $80 per month, it’ll take about a year and a half less, and i’d like to have it done (or close to it) by the time i’m out of school (probably 2010), because i’m going to have massive loan debt to deal with.

I’ve only had 2 cars that I ever had payments on, and I’ve owned 6 cars. The cars I had payments on I finished well before they were supposed to be paid off.

Although I’ve had car loans in the past, I never had a problem paying them off early. This time is different. When I purchased the car I was working at a place I loved, doing something I was passionate about and really enjoying it too. The money was great and I had never ever owned a brand new car before, so I thought why not, the one I had is falling apart! I had the car a year and a half and I was loving it! Then, I was laid off from my job and was unemployed for almost a year. I found another job, but it was less than half of what I was making before and now it’s such a struggle.

I feel safe in this car, I still enjoy driving it and I want to be able to pay it off early, like I did the others. It’s a struggle since I own a home too.

I put this in the top three, because I think it’s attainable!
