Just in case the original poster decides to block my opinions because hey, they are contrary to hers, and she has no smarter comeback, here is a copy of my reply to worry not about what others think of me but what God thinks
We are mere mortals, and we cannot possibly penetrate the mind of God.
Whoever claims to do so may very well be a lunatic.
Our only chance to know the word of God is in the Bible. Of course, the Bible doesn’t tell us what God thinks about a particular individual, but here is what God thinks about women:

We’ll never convince all Christians to abandon their faith. But if we can prevent them from forcing their faith onto others, it will eventually die on its own. Reason and logic shall overcome.

From Michael Rucker on reading the Bible. The guy has some very interesting and powerful goals, and the “Read the Bible” one miffed me a bit.
Michael wrote rather objective summaries of the chapters in Genesis and Exodus. A http://www.43things.com/comments/thread/1586888">logical question of mine about the odd identity of the snake in Genesis revealed that he is doubting his faith!
Way to go Mike!
For men become civilized, not in proportion to their willingness to believe, but in proportion to their willingness to doubt.

Bo made an excellent argument that direct confrontation will almost NEVER sway a believer from their Chosen Path.
I have no idea how many believers were shaken just a bit to their senses by any of my direct rebuttals, but I never got any positive feedback to them. After someone pointed out to me that I was an antagonistic a-hole, I realized you just can’t attack the cherished beliefs of these people directly with any chance of success. That was when I started to write my entries with “insinuation of doubt” in mind. So far I have received one non-negative feedback.
I’ll therefore joyfully present:

The very, very best resource I found, in the spirit of the insinuation of doubt.
When you can’t argue with them, humor them. When a mouth is open in laughter, you can shove in some thought.

Just had an idea about insinuating a bit of reason into the minds of those God-thumpers, Bible-thumpers, Jesus-thumpers and so on: let’s tag all their goals with “godisimaginary.com”.
Right now most of their goals have tags from only one person. If two of use tag with “godisimaginary.com”, our tag will stand out.
Thus my brothers, let us seek heathen goals containing “God”, “Bible”, “Jesus”, and tag that flock with the truth: “godisimaginary.com”

The Bible is, without doubt, the most influential book in human history. However, most of us do not have the time to go through all of the Bible. Fortunately, God gave us the this 10-minute video that summarizes the Bible as perfectly as only God could do.
Let us who have no time to read the Bible, watch this video and praise God and His perfect book, the Bible.
