Buy a piano

And I really miss playing! I don´t have a musical talent, I´ve tried several instruments, until I found the piano and I fell inlove (and I´m not THAT bad at it)... All I have to do now is… save some money and buy at least a little one XD

Full size upright. I’d love a baby grand, but space would be the issue. And for someone going back to her primary instrument after such a long break, a grand is not really warranted. An older, restored piano with good mellow tone and nice rhythm is all I ask.

This is really my wife’s goal. But I’ll help her if she helps me with my goal of paying of the Amex bill. She has saved money from her part-time working as an office manager in an account but it is not enough yet to buy a new piano. We have every room furnished in our new house except the living room. This will be the center piece. I told her to look for a used piano.

Actually, I have one. I would like to buy one that holds my music more easily and one that is not quite so heavy. I think that I can move this to a better location for the moment to make it easier for me to make use of it.

Well we dont officially move into our house until this weekend but today the piano was delivered!!!

MsM took delivery of it and I havnt seen it yet but apprently it fits in perfectly :-)

MsM can play and I have always wanted to learn. We have perfect room for it in our new house (honest) So having done lots of research and haggling have finally done a deal on one that will be delivered when we move into our new home.

Lol with all MsM and I are spending and with imminent birth of our second child we going to be living very frugally for a while but we should have a lovely home.

Oh my gosh. A new digital piano is on its way to me in the next couple of days. It’s a really fabulous model, and feels and sounds just like a real piano. I have been banned from touching it until Christmas Day, but I cannot wait!!!!

This goal has been a long time coming, and I’m so happy. :-)

After a few reconnaissance missions over the past couple of months, I’m pretty sure which model of digital piano I want to get. Just need to cough up the cash and take the plunge now! Maybe I’ll have one for Christmas. ;)

How much does a keyboard cost? I would like to buy one and start playing piano…
