How I did it: I bought a set of juggling balls and read the techniques listed on an enclosed sheet. Whether I could squeeze in five minutes of practice or fifteen, I did my best to work on it every day. By taking it in small steps, I was able to progress over three weeks until I felt truly comfortable juggling for a long period of time. Read how I did it…
Jesse W. just learned how to juggle three balls in a "mesh" :)
How I did it: I started out with several balls of socks, which I found to be far too lopsided to be of use. So I graduated to a beginner set of Klutz balls. I practiced every day, but I was frankly horrible and didn't know what I was doing. Then I bought a book that showed the actual mechanics of the operation; suddenly it all made sense. After a few days of practicing the basic 3-ball cascade, I had it down pat.Later I figured … Read how I did it…

How I did it: It's been on my list since I was about 12 and I never really took the time to dedicate to it. I got down the basic movement a long time ago but never until now developed it into really "juggling". Read how I did it…
How I did it: I bought the Klutz guide to juggling and practiced a little bit each day. After you get the basics down there's lot's of little things you can do to do more and do better. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I followed instructions and started slow. Practiced with one ball, then two, and finally three. My dad can do the three-ball shower but not the cascade, so I started learning both. Getting good enough to juggle with a partner is a worthy milestone. Getting the police called for tossing clubs in an empty parking lot probably isn't, but was interesting nonetheless. I can sort of juggle, but not for very long. I knew I’d learn something valuable from those drum lessons.
Juggling seems like a cool, pointless skill to learn. But hey, why not? A few weeks ago, a friend of mine who is in the circus club gave me the basics of juggling. He’s pretty good, good enough to perform. He currently is working on some advanced techniques with a friend of his.
Anyway, I didn’t pick this back up until yesterday when I decided I wanted to get better at it. So I picked up 3 tennis balls and just kept trying. Needless to say, there were a lot of dropped balls. The biggest problem I have is that my throws are inconsistent and as a result I drop a ball (please excuse the innuendos) or two hit each other and go opposite directions.
So that’s what I need to work on, getting my throws together. So far I’ve been able to go about 10 throws, not bad.
I can almost juggle 2 balls with one hand…after that apparently it’s easy…apparently…

and was able to juggle 3 balls to about 15 throws, then I stopped practicing and have regressed loads.
I’ve practiced on and off over the last couple of months and will eventually get back onto this more seriously.
