This Friday 1st August … I’ve never been to hospital before and am quite nervous about it, but it’s only day surgery so I guess it can’t be too bad! 4 years ago

Went for my blood tests this weekend—Next Appt is 12th June when we can discuss results and the next step. 5 years ago

I have a few tests and a bit of thinking to do—but I have to make another appointment for a month’s time to discuss going under, eek! I’m stoked that it seems a simple enough procedure and I’m not a total freak, it’s something that happens quite often woohoo! 5 years ago

I have an appt with a specialist 1st May that I still don’t have a refferal for .. so at least I’m on a deadline now and I am going to HAVE to go back. 5 years ago

She sent me a note in the mail saying that she hasn’t seen me in a while and that my results came back with definite signs of PCOS. She would like me to come in and discuss them. I still haven’t made an appointment .. I will try to do it before the week is out! 5 years ago

i don’t know why because i’m sure that everyone in the packed out doctors surgery has had to do it once in their life but i was still shamed out when i smuggled the little urine cup out of my bag and quickly shoved it behind her desk LOL

ok so i’ve been a little bit slack. I have had the blood taken, and the results have been sent back to my doctor but I have to provide a urine sample aswell, and collect the results at my doctors all together. Perhaps i will arrange to do this mid next week. 6 years ago

I rushed to my doctors appointment this morning and out of my mouth poured all of the concerns i have had about my health that had previously been brushed off or that i have been made to feel stupid about. We wrote a list together and she went through the first step to take to test each one of them. I feel very much at ease. 6 years ago

It’s organised for Sat 24th March 09:45. This doctor was recommended by a close family friend so I’m interested to see how it will go. I’m less than impressed with any of my local GPs so hopefully this will be the first step in a positive direction. 6 years ago
