Worth doing!

i’ve decided not to change jobs this year unless it’s for that one particular position, so i’ll mark this as done for now…

week off  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

since the whole week’s off :) it will be easy to spend a few minutes each day making notecards with interview questions; maybe will think of things to put in my portfolio also

sent the resume and cover letter in the mail today. thought it was the best resume and cover letter could have possibly done. now it’s up to fates and the universe whether i get a position there – if yes, then will trust that it’s the right job at the right time; if no, then will trust that it worked out for the best.

Resume  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

Just revised my resume & cover letter from last year. Now, i’m going to print them out and get them ready to mail on monday – ONLY to the school where i really want to work. if i don’t hear from them this year, then i’ll try again next year.

either, a) i will get a job there, and be elated, or b) no positions will be available this year, and i’ll get a better classroom (someone’s retiring), take four courses, and take the qualifying exam next year.

it’s win-win. the resume is signed and sealed. going to deliver it on monday :)

change of plans  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

instead of sending out resumes, i’ve decided to hold out for the job i really want. there’s only one school that i’d really love to work in, so i’m going to write a cover letter and send a resume to that principal. if no positions are available there, then my current job really isn’t that bad. aside from the 50-min-each-way-commute, it gives me lots of time to work on my degree
