finish reading The Chronicles of Narnia

I’ve been reading these since 5th grade…
it should have been enough time really.

I love reading this book again. When I was younger, I didn’t understand but now that I’m older and a Christian, I see how beautifully creative and symbolically representative the stories are to the ones in the Bible.

I keep thinking how wonderful it would be if everything was true. I wish there was a Lion named Aslan and a place like Narnia. I have to remind myself that there is. In this world, Aslan is Jesus and Narnia is Heaven. I can’t wait to get there!

‘I am,’said Aslan. ‘But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.’

C.S. Lewis – Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I started the books a while ago, then for some reason, I stopped. I started reading the 6th book a couple nights ago, so I figure I’ll finish soon (then I can check this off!)

I want to read it again.
