Actually, I’m getting better at this one. If I can maintain this level of focus (and hopefully improve) and meet my goals for school and work over the summer, I’ll mark this one as done.

ok, tomorrow I will do at least one hour of my homework! lol
I am working on this, and it does make life more manageable. Now I need to work from working to consistancy.
Today I had to give myself a “self” talk and put myself in gear for not taking care of things that need to be taken care of. I finally started one of my school projects that I put off for weeks. Surprisingly it was not as difficult as I thought it would be and was actually stimulating to use my brain.I also filed my stack of papers that was unmanageable so the desk is once again in order. I cannot understand this behavior because it drags me down. I guess I should not procrastinate talking to my therapist about this..lol
This one doesn’t seem likely to happen. At best, I’ll learn to manage my procrastination a bit better. Oh well. It can’t hurt to put this goal in writing, in public, and hope for the best.
Okay I have been trying to motivate myself to go pick up my plane tickets for the last two weeks…I really have to go because I am leaving very soon…okay, seriously this weekend I am going! I am listening to Hairbert and I am taking the bull by the horns!
I had been avoiding doing my taxes for about a million years… being the super born again non-procrastinator that I am I did seven years all together and now the government and me are good friends! Yay, doing stuff!
So one of my subgoals under stop procrastinating is to give more cheers… but how can I do this when I’ve gone a whole day without receiving any cheers from “the machine” even when people have cheered me today? I don’t get it. I’ve always received cheers to be given away before. What gives?
I think it is a character flaw.
To manage this flaw I need to prioritize my to-do list, set aside adequate time to perform a particular task, and not get side-tracked from the task at hand.
My progress is that I now have a prioritized to-do list that is revised every two weeks or so. I still need to expand the list to include a section for work and home, and to keep a record of completed tasks to reinforce accomplishments.
