A country where the culture and religion survived hand in hand for over 1000 years, until the 1950’s, where being a religious feudal society did not mean having to burn witches at the stake, conquer other countries, demean and humiliate those not in 100% compliance. I want to meet a culture that believes in literal reincarnation, to the extent that they choose the next generation of secular and religious leaders when they are toddlers, AND YET SEEM TO SUCCEED IN CREATING WISE AND INTELLIGENT LEADERS. Maybe that’s where we go wrong, we keep on trying to choose adults. Or grown children, like Bush.
And I want to see this before Tibet is destroyed by the overpopulation of far too many Chinese immigrants.
