I went back and changed this to not worth doing. My face has never been this broken out before. I thought like everybody had said that it was just my face “detoxing” or whatever. I wish I had never done this.
I switched to Jojoba oil and very little castor oil. I think the castor oil dried my face out to much and I was starting to get really flaky. I do that every 2 or 3 weeks now.
I tried washing it with honey mixed with water. I notice it’s much clearer after doing that. Honey + leaving it alone, is working.

I just tried it again. Each time I do it I notice significantly less pore clogage. A few more times and it might all come out. My face itches a lot after I do it. I guess my pores don’t know what to do with themselves now.
I can’t believe how relaxed I get when I do this. My hands are very moisturized too. They don’t look like housewife with no dishwasher hands. My nails and cuticles look awesome.

I tried it a couple more times. I don’t think I did it long enough the first time. I noticed grainy stuff on my hands while I was doing it the last to times. It took me a second to figure out that that stuff use to live in my pores. I think It’s going to take a few more tries to get it all out. My pores are really clogged.
My skin is smoother. It’s helping my hands too. They’re not dry at all

I got my castor oil this afternoon. I tried it and my face is itching. I hope it’s a good itching, like my face is rejoicing because it’s so clean! It’s really hard to not scratch.
After I did it I noticed my face was a lot smoother. It was like when I use the Apricot scrub but not dry.
I’m going to try it a few more times before I say if it’s worth it or not.

I don’t think OCM is particularly effective for me, as no matter what oils I use, the massage/face-touching component seems to aggravate my eczema. However, in the process I learned a lot about my skin, so it was very much worth trying – currently I’ve moved to gently wiping Witch Hazel over my face, putting a little Jojoba oil on any eczema-threatening parts and moisturising with a cream containing lactic acid & urea. (I’ve discovered that my skin seems to fail at producing the humectants it needs to keep moisture in, so adding them myself makes a big difference.)

I;m now using the oil cleansing method after I wash my face with Dove soap, I kept breaking out with just oil but the dove and oil combination seems to work well for me.

The pimple on my chin seems to have gone down a lot. I haven’t exactly got the perfect, beautiful, oil cleansed glow, that has this method of cleansing all hyped over. Apparently it takes at least a month for your skin to get used to a product… so I’ll give it a month. Check back in November 29th.

I’ve heard lots of good things about it so today I bought castor oil and olive oil, just washed my face with the mix and my face feels clean and moisturized :)

It is going very well. I use castor oil mixed with Sunflower oil or grapeseed oil.. both very light oils. The past few days, my skin has been broke out but my guess is that it is hormones combined with all the bad stuff getting out. My pimples that I do get tend to heal quicker. I rub it for about 15-20 minutes then steam it with boiling water (holding my face over a pan with a towel over my head) and I think that works better for me than the washcloth steam… as it is more thorough. I have been getting whole blackheads to come out by just massaging.

I’ve been doing OCM, but with jojoba oil.
It hasn’t worked too well and I really need to get some castor oil, as my skin needs its cleansing properties.
I will report back once I have bought some. I plan to buy some tomorrow.
This is a short-term goal and I plan to do it very soon.
