I finally did it.
Worth doing!
it’s so easy. i used this: http://users.rcn.com/stewoody/ website for directions and everything worked perfectly and i got some really cool images.

After adding it to my list this past weekend and thinking about it, I spent some time this afternoon and evening finishing one kit and assembling another. All take 35mm, so now I just need to find some time to get out there and use them. Guess it’s time to add that goal to my list!

I’ve made them the old fashioned way, now I have two kits to build for better constructed ones that work with 35mm. I’ve put this on my list to make sure I get it done!

i’ve made pinhole cameras from a bunch of things: oatmeal box, pringles chip container, shoebox, and more! just remember to add some weight (like a shoe!) to the top when you are taking a photo… otherwise your camera might blow away!

Out of an oatmeal container in photo class a few years ago. It was pretty neeaaattt…I wish I still had the pictures though…they were pretty crazy :)
i’d like to make a pinhole camera with my daughter! she’s only 7 months old now, but i am “collecting” ideas for things to do with her…i really want to things with her that we both can explore and learn from, not just me showing her something.

my mum sent me on this summer holiday course to make and use a pinhole camera. the ad explicitly stated that this was not a babysitting exercise, and you should only send children who were genuinely interested. I had absolutely no idea what it was till i did it, but i thought it was pretty cool. I think it would think it was even cooler now though!
