How about I just don’t buy food? College has the effect of making me completely irresponsible for what I eat, based on time commitments and apathy.

I’ve started a compost pile so that if something does go bad it can be composted.
YUCK! I cleaned it out and then found some things I’d forgotten about. I have been doing pretty well with this goal so far, since I’m conscious of it for the moment. I made some spaghetti at the beginning of the week and ate it throughout the week to make sure it didn’t go to waste! I think I’ll keep trying this strategy of making something that I really like in a decent quantity each week and not over buying other little stuff. Then I’ll have lunches and snacks and not have to worry about the little stuff going to waste.

...on groceries today. Fuck. Most of what I purchased isn’t perishable, meaning that I don’t need to worry. My goal is to only buy veggies and meat for the next two months. I mean it, too. I would like not to have to get anything like soap, detergent, etc, until January. Let’s see how well this works.

...on the stove-top. And I cleared everything gross out of the freezer and planned something for the rest of the items. There’s not much food in the house, period. I’d like to eat my way out and only buy a few things between now and the middle of October. My plan is to cleanse before I have my certification and then start on a clean slate.

...new posibilities! However, I am going to freeze the chicken, ‘Cuz I’m sure that we’re not going to eat it in the next two days. Wish us luck!

...this problem is solved by the lack of food in the house! But damnit am I a hungry star.

...I do not eat kale in the warmer seasons. I do not want to waste the kale, but I’m not in the mood for anything with greens.
Perhaps it would be a good start for compost.

...solved!!!!!
Nothing can go bad when there’s nothing in the fridge!!!!
Oh wait, there’s nothing to eat.
Flawed logic, that one.
(Damn, I cannot WAIT for lasagna!)

is not the optimal state for bread, right?
My roommate is not helping this.
We need to plan a bit better.
