MY wife took the final payment in last week. While we have not got all the paperwork back from the bank yet the money is in and the loan is paid off! This is the first time since I was 19 that I am 100% debt free…. Is nice but not as exciting as I thought! :)
I guess when the payments does not roll around next month or the one after that it will come home that much more! This is one goal that seemed like it would never come to fruition but it has.. Magic when you “write it down” what can happen with some effort. Come on everyone do this with me!

We are doing good! I don’t really want to share actual numbers. (kindof personal) but we have a very reasonable amount left.. should be done with no problem by the end of the year! Hopefully sooner!

I was doing some figures. We just made the regular monthly payment at the first of the month. The part of the payment that is going to principle= 92.78%
SO obviously that leaves little more than 7% of the payment is going to interest.
That much closer each month!
Hard charging ahead! WIll hopefully beat the time limit on this goal.. just have to hold on for the next 12 months or so!

Made the payment to the mortgage from some investments. We now are setting goal for complete payoff of mortgage by no later than December 2008. This is so much fun! We are focusing a lot of our extra money and tightening belts in some areas to make this potentially very possible.

We have pulled our investment money and are applying it to the mortgage. We are going to put our heads together to put a realistic but streching goal on us for a completion date. I am thinking maybe Dec of 2008. Will be fun to work towards!
