So I’m lying right here in the goal!
But I made an effort and I did get to pet a cerval and a bear cub and I am over my need to touch the giant and very sharp.
I mean, if I am ever offered the opportunity, I will touch a tiger – but this is enough!

We will be going to the Game Park Safari when we hit Oregon next month. They do have tigers which one could pet last summer but who can say now?
Look at the picture! They let infants touch them.
I am going to count this as finished if I can pet any big cat. I’m not committed to Panthera tigris – cougars, lions, lynx…. if I’m not mauled, I’ll take it. But I will check this goal off by the end of the summer.

We found a brochure for this on our trip to Oregon. Looks promising and not too depressing.
Anyway it’s only about 3 hours from the inlaws so if we do decide to camp out way up there, it’s a good possibility.

Not for me, byt surely for the poor tiger. I don’t think it’s worth doing like those zoo’s do (this one was in Thailand) and drugging the poor annimals into unconsciousness just because us humans feel like touching something exotic. If these are the only conditions under which you can touch them, leave them alone.

I dreamed about this the other night. Its fur was rougher than I expected, like a goat.
