move back home

Eight weeks till we move back home. I’m excited, but also kind of sad. I will miss my privacy and having a place of my own. I’m excited to start a new chapter in my life. I’m half way through the process of transferring schools. I have to sign up for classes still and make sure financial aid goes through.

I have made the decision to move back in with my parents. It was a decision that my boyfriend and I made together. We both want to pay off some debt we have and save money for a house in the future. It makes sense.

This week went by fast!

Husbands immigrant visa approved. Baby’s citizenship in order. Tickets bought. I’ll be home in 8 weeks!

After over 6 months of living in this blah of a place they call Macon. I’ve decided to move back home to Augusta until I know where I’m going to be serving for Americorps (hopefully Alaska)

I moved alot of my stuff when I had to leave my apartment after I was laid off. I rent a room now and I have stuff in the storage unit at my old apartment

But Istill have some things to do:

- rent a uhaul
- pack my winter clothes
- clean the room
- clean out my car so I can pack some stuff
- turn in my resignation to my job
- forward my mail

I honestly miss my hometown.

I really can’t explain this… but it’s something I need to do.

I want to move back home to Vancouver so badly! I’ve been living in Edmonton for almost 9 months and I still don’t like it here. I like my job and my pay(!), but I’m willing to give that up to be back home with my family, boyfriend, and friends. I also miss the ocean, the trees, the mild weather…I’m planning to stay only 8 more months…how do I survive!!

I am about to get on road. Tonight is the night that I move back home :-)

Rather than leaving my current job, I will be able to work from home for awhile. The nice thing is, I will be able to move away again in a couple of years. I am moving Friday of next week, but I will be keeping duel residency for awhile>
