go to Fenway Park for a baseball game

I was in Boston visiting a friend and everybody asked if I was going to see Fenway while I was there. Clearly Boston people love their baseball.

The decision to watch a game was sort of last minute and we didn’t arrive until a few innings in, but the Sox did beat the Yankess that night. It was a good time.

My roommate won tickets, so I’m going this Friday! We’ll get there a little late, but I don’t really care. Yay!

Fenway is simply the best place to see a baseball game in my opinion. The atmosphere was electric. The fans are in the game until the last out. You can’t beat it.

And I think I understood the rules somehow…

and Funny Shaped Hot Dog “Buns”. What fun! Yay Green Monster! Watch out for the shade if its a little cool outside. I recommend the bleachers.

I don’t have anything to compare it to, because it’s the only place I’ve watched baseball. I used to go with my grandfather or my father when I was a little girl, so of course I loved it!

We’re huge Sox fans here. (could you guess?) We’ve gone twice this year. My neighbor got us tickets from people he works with that weren’t able to go (on Mothers Day and my birthday) My son is obsessed with everything baseball so it was so great to see him experience Fenway for the first time. We sat in the right field bleachers and the first game we saw he caught (well, he actually scrambled on the ground for) two baseballs that Johnny Damon threw up to the kids!! Priceless…

Greatest game I ever went to.

and then find a good bar afterward.

I’m not a huge baseball fan, but I would like to see America’s oldest ballpark while it is still standing. I really wish I had gone before the Sox won that world series and became all popular.
