I’m giving up on this. It is still a worthy goal, but the state of my finances cannot facilitate this right now. Maybe six months from now it’ll be more feasible. But right now, I’m more concerned with keeping my head above water.

My recent bout with the car workshop set me back really badly. The instant casualty was my VISA card. The long-term damage involves this goal and the fact that my savings dwindle to peanuts virtually overnight. :(

Can I give up on this already? 2 years ago

    Well, I wish I could, but I know that I shouldn’t.

My car is in the workshop, starter problems. That alone will cost me major moolah. The they found out my suspension is out too, and it cost much more than the starter. So looks like I got me a double whammy. Finally I told them to defer the suspension replacement until I win the lottery and work on the starter for now.

This goal looks like a non-starter as well.. :(

and this goal has hit a setback. Recent commitment and splurges have taken me even further from this goal. The only saving grace would be the fact that my credit card is spared and all necessary payments were paid in cash. This will probably take me this whole year but it will be worth it.

between four to six months to achieve, depending on how well I stick to my budget while optimistically hoping that no unforeseen expenses crop up during these next few months. The amount is approximately USD 1000, and I am somewhat embarrass to work out that it may take a mighty long time to chalk up this much in savings. Well, one must start somewhere..

Targeted total as of 20th Feb 2007: USD 200.
