there is a new stem starting,oh joy,it is only 3 inches tall but i am completely hopeful that it will continue to get taller and produce blooms, I’m betting this one is white but who knows i forgot to write the color on the pot.

who knew they went dormant

I was told today that in winter the orchids i have will go dormant to blooming.the growth is a good indicator that there will be bloooms in the spring but when you live 41/97 no one can really predict when that is and it is NOT on march 21st.we still get snow in may some years. I really want to see the colors>i think they are going to be red or pink.

plant food applied for the last week .the orchids have new growth,maybe this spring i will get to see what color it was . it’s been so long.

It’s been so long since they have bloomed that i can’t even remember which ones are what color! new growth abounds but no blooms!
