I can never get it quite right! It’s always too mushy or too chewy.

We had tofu tacos last night and they were surprisingly tasty and filling!

that sounds really good. The problem is, it calls for Garden Herb flavored tofu and I can’t find it anywhere! I’ve been to every grocery store in my area, even the really good one, and no one has it!
The best way to cook tofu is to marinate it in something. And don’t be afraid to cook it too long, because it can take a little while sometimes! Check out these great cookbooks too:

They rock! There is nothing better than a good veg cook book :)
A thermos-full of leftover rice pilaf (with cranberries and approcots) plus plain tofu in a thermos.
Cheap, easy, quick AND it filled me up all afternoon. I will make this again (soon!)
I’m pretty happy with the BBQ Tofu and have been experimenting quite a bit. I like it baked better than grilled, and fresh over the frozen kind. Now it’s time to graduate to something else – I think I’m going to try making fake scrambled eggs (with tofu) next.
I like tofu as a concept.
And I like what that Chinnese place down the street does with it.
But have very little tofu “cooking” experience. (Unless putting slices of tofu in a salad counts as “cooking”)
And so, I bodly embark on a mission to become a comfortable and confident TOFU COOKER. My first experiment will be BBQ Tofu.
And I also found a handy dandy little tidbit on pressed tofu to help me out in the process.
Bon appetite
i’m a vegetarian and i LOVE tofu, but i can’t figure out any interesting ways to cook it (i’m not the best cook) anyone have some easy recipes?
