visit bali

My first time on Zeigeist and it really got me thinking about some of my ‘former’ passions. My whole world took a dive on 911 and with that dive went dreams and passions. Reading about so many people who have been to beautiful Bali has rekindled my desire and I Thank you all for that!

i went there twice this summer.
it is a great place if you choose the right area to visit.

visit South East Asia countries with Air Asia. Bali is one of them. Next year when they have ticket sales :)

This island is alive. The people are the most beautiful I’ve ever met. I was a year in Asia, and for the most part would spend as much time in Japan or Aus as it would take to make enough money just to get back to Bali. The Kuta/Seminyak area is busy/touristy, but super fun. Ubud is amazing- have tea at the Bali Budha, lose your possesions to a monkey, but there’s a lot more to the island, and there’s plenty of places to escape to if you’re brave enough to rent a jeep or a motorbike. Be prepared on the road for cops- keep your spending money in one pocket, and your bribe money in the other.

Had an amazing time travelling accross these islands! Nearly died trying to surf though :(
