I finished a scrapbook for my mom’s birthday in less than a month, but i’ve been trying to finish one for myself that I started 3 years ago. I’m missing half of it.
How I did it: Someone else suggested a group effort, of busy single moms, all getting together for one afternoon, with babysitter, in my home. I just made sure I got through the images I wanted to put in the book. Still need to do some dressing up. Read how I did it…

I originally wanted to Scrapbook my wedding photos because I didn’t use a professional photographer. I found out how scary that was when I went to sit down to do it. I eventually fell on to something less scary to scrapbook to start with, my time living and teaching English in Japan. I have 4 pages down, and I think I can create about 20-30 more pages based on the amount of pictures I have.

I went out today and bought some supplies. I should be able to get caught up with some of the more recent pages I’ve been wanting to do. I’ve also got some keepsakes that will be placed in my heritage book, which also has a box to keep more bulky items, such as the arm bands from the hospital when Charlie was born. Getting closer!

soooooooooo many supplies it’s crazy. I think I have too many and I don’t know what to do with them. The overwhelming feeling of knowing there are so many possibilities keeps me from doing anything. I think I’m just going to start simple until I get a “ritual” going on it; then I can expiriment more or being creative
I finally finished the scrapbook I made for my mom. And now I am on to finishing 3 in the upcoming year. I think the key to doing this is making the committment to go to the PACES scrapbooking 1x a month.
It turned out beautifully. I also finished the AP Bio one. Mrs. Smith adored it. YAY!
I want to finish at least one scrapbook of mel’s articles – I’m nearly there but haven’t had the motivation to complete it, particularly since she’s begun work on a new magazine. If I could just get the first magazine done with before the second lot becomes too overwhelming…
