go to more shows, even if it is alone

YEAH!
I used to go to shows all the time…at the very least two or three a month. But now they’re getting a little more expensive, and I’m not exactly chock full o’ free time.

If I can get one in every other month, I’d be ecstatic. I always feel so rejuvinated after a show.

i go to one almost everyday now.

a few weeks ago, i went to see soophie nun squad alone, but there were lots of people there i recognized and hung out with. yay!

i’m supposed to meet up with this one girl that i just met to see mother 33 on thursday. and i e-know the singer in the band, so hopefully, i wont be too alone.

i always go to shows alone. i don’t particularly like it, but usually i see someone there i know. i know the people who run one of the venues that i go to frequently. my “friends” are too lame and don’t like good music.

when i was younger, i’d go to shows all the time. but now i’m a geek because i work and do my homework.

actually, i was going to see built to spill by my lonesome this friday, but doug’s eye is all messed up and they can’t make it.

It’s a great chance to meet new people, because they’re into the same stuff as you. A lot of the time I’ve met people because I needed help getting up in a mosh pit!

its not something i make a habit of and its always more fun with friends!
but a couple of times ive had the change of just one ticket for a gig and just gone alone
its great to do now and again, makes you feel really confident and independant
