Sounds fun!
I’ve spent two nights at my friend’s haunted apartment. No ghosts though. And I’ve been on one paranormal investigation and have another one coming up either this weekend or the next.
I kinda wanted an old and creepy house but this will do.
It was mostly socializing but we did talk some about the investigations. I got what was supposed to be one of my books in the mail but the dude I bought it from sent some stupid romance novel instead!
Tomorrow night I have my first meeting/welcome dinner with the rest of the paranromal investigation team. Been doing alot of reading for my training. My brain is fried…LOL
My friend’s who’s boyfriend (now her husband) had the haunted apartment, has invited me to come and stay at her place to keep her company while her husband is on location down South next month.
Unless I go on an investigation with my group before then, that would constitute spending the night in a haunted house.
I have been just been invited to join my local paranormal investigations team! Cannot wait to start my training…
Actually two things!
1. My friend and her fiance invited me over for dinner at his apartment this Friday. That is the one where the triple murder happened.
2. I had another Meet-up with my paranormal group tonight. The group organizer said there might be a slot opening up in their investigation team and they told me that they have me in mind as one of the candidates!
How totally cool is that!!!!!
I dreamt I spent the night in a haunted house last night. It was an eight story mansion and there was a murder that occured on the 7th floor in the North Wing. I was sleeping on the 8th Floor in the South Wing. I was living there with my friend who had just gotten married and I worked for her as her housekeeper or assistant or something like that. And we slept in the same room together like sisters. Well after she got married of course she wanted her husband to sleep with her and she wanted me to move down to one of the other bedrooms on the 7th Floor in the South Wing. And she says to me that she knows were the murder took place in the North Wing and that I should always stay in the South Wing and keep the door closed that leads to the hallway to the North Wing. As she was telling me this we were on the 7th Floor in the South Wing and we were looking through some sort of little window in the door that led into the hallway and you could FEEL the evil. And you could feel that it was waiting for me. And waiting for nightfall to come. (God I still get the creeps as I type this.) And in the dream I was contemplating sleeping on any other floor but the 7th. And then I woke up and I swear – I had that creepy feeling that something was watching me. And this was in the morning – sunlight streaming into the room. Yet I was pretty darn afraid to open my eyes.
But I did. And there was nothing there.
That I knew of.
This is the second dream I have had about haunted houses that have many floors and BOTH times the evil floor is the second floor from the top. I wonder what THAT is about…
I didn’t wake up to ghostly groans, there were no floating, disembodied heads, no gusts of unexpectedly cold wind, no inaminate objects which moved of their own accord, but it was great experience for the story-telling in the bar beneath, the expectation, the curiosity and the experience of staying at a traditional Inn – The George & Dragon in West Wycombe.
