find buried treasure

so i was on a hike the other day where i work, because it’s a kids camp. and some of the kids knew more than i did, and they took me on this new route that leads to an old abandoned car. apparently, there was a bank near by in the early 1900’s that got robbed. as the robbers were escaping they crashed down a cliff, and the breifcase full of money is still buried under the car. no one can get it out because they can’t get a crane down there to move the car. so ok, everyone knows about the treasure, but still!! i found buried treasure!! and the best part is, you can actually see the brief case! it’s RIGHT there!!! i’m still workin’ on how i’m gonna get it out…

When I was a kid I was obsessed with this. I wanted to be a pirate in one of those Howard Pyle paintings. I wanted to go to Oak Island and help out. I wanted to find the Templar treasure, the Ark, any kind of relic and hold it up high cackle with laughter – or something.
If anyone finds buried treasure, f’in’ let us know, will ya!

My wife’s grandpa and grandma buried $10,000 worth of silver coins in the yard after the depression. Now they are probably worth around $80,000. Her grandma passed away recently and grandpa can’t find the money in the yard, so he put the house up for sale without finding it. :-( He asks we just let the issue lie. So out of respect we aren’t searching for buried treasure anytime soon. So now I’m just waiting on a new opportunities to find some buried treasure.

When I was a little kid, I buried all the coins I had in the little sandbox in our backyard, then tried to dig them back up. I didn’t find them. So I forgot about it for a while, and one day (probably not that long afterward) when I was playing with the garden hose, I saw the edges of several coins in the wall of the hole I was blasting in the sandbox. I was pretty excited about that discovery…

the closest i’ve ever got is digging up a spade at the beach!!!
don’t really care what the treasure is just aslong as i get to dig it up!!!
