get my legs waxed

I went to have them done in a beauty salon, because I’ve tried home kits before with no success, and I can never rip them off fast enough myself because it hurts.

The hair is staying away longer than it would have done shaving, but I had to be horrible and hairy for about 2 weeks beforehand, then it didn’t even get all of them anyway! Plus it was expensive, not to mention painful.

I think I’ll save my money for another razor instead…

rit yes ive done tis, nd yes im a guy. i did this for charity bout 6 mnths ago with a few of my other m8s in wrk, we did it for a breast cancer chariy, and i can honestly say it aint really that bad

Radhia the waxer is a genius, she’s so gentle (and I think the nurofen beforehand, the cup of tea afterwards, and having 14 weeks of growth for the wax to grip also helped)

And now I am silky smooth in time for spring

ah i did finally. wat an experience… i took 2 advils and had some vodka and oj before goin to the place.. it was 3 min away and im a good driver lol… ill see how long the results last except i have those tiny red dots all over my legs and two shades of tan ohh well im hair free though

ouch! letting the hairs on my legs grow out to the appropriate length for waxing was AWFUL! after waxing, not all of the hairs were removed, so i still had to shave!

wasnt that great. looks the same as shaving.. well see how it is in like the next week

how much different do your legs look and feel compared to just shaving

I’ve never gotten my legs waxed, and I figure with spring being here and summer fast approaching, this will be a good goal to go along with getting in better shape and getting a tan. Any advice anyone can give about picking a place to get this done, or anything really, would be greatly appreciated :)

SO yeah…what can I say, an hour later and I’m feeling great about my choice to get my legs waxed. Gonna be uber cool not having to shave em every second day! Was a lil nervous before going in, cos I thought it was gonna be SORE and also cos I’m a guy :P Anyways, the skinny of it is, that the pain is seriously overrated! Only sore spots are behind the knees and the inside of the thighs. If you’re thinking about doing this, GO FOR IT!
