Fool a Brit with my fake accent

Thanks to such medias as ‘The Getaway’, ‘Snatch’, ‘The Streets’, and the Orbitz gum girl, I can fool passers-by with a chalky Englisg tongue. Sometimes it just pours out in buckets, (usually when I’m drinking) and sometimes it can even charm the pants off of the ladies. Only so far, I’ve tried it on Americans with huge success, but I’m yet to pull this trick with any actual Brits, which makes me wonder. I meet British soldiers pretty often, but because of the uniform it’s impossible to shake off my yankee-ness. There’s also the slight chance that what I’m speaking is Australian, not English…
