Finish Renaissance

Every now and then, I can’t help just playing with the code and framework instead of adding new features… it is an indulgence, not that it isn’t useful. Today it was stuff to do with singletons, low level base classes, and simulating pointcuts in PHP.

I’ve done a huge, great, big chunk of work on it recently, totally re-writing lots of it and adding a whole bew level of functionality. I’m really pleased with it.

I’ve finally had/got a few weeks to do some serious work on it. I’ve already hacked half the guts out and put better stuff in. It’s nowhere near finished yet, but it’s getting closer.

Renaissance is my own content management system, written in PHP/MySQL. I’ve been developing it for years. It works and drives plenty of sites, but there’s always so much more to add and polish.

I’ve got a fellow coder working on it now though, so it should speed along!
