take an African drumming class

My first class was yesterday, and it was a lot of fun! I didn’t have my own drum, I had to borrow one from the instructor and share it with two other people. It was a little distracting. If one person made a mistake, it threw the other two people off… it wasn’t horrible, just a little distracting…but I had so much fun in the class and I felt that I would get so much more out of it if I had my own drum that I went to Guitar Center and bought one right after class. I’ve always wanted one, but could never really justify buying it. So yeah, maybe it was a little frivolous of me, but hey, now I can practice more and get really good it it. Yay!

now i just have to find somewhere to put it when i’m not playing it… 3 years ago
