All the latch hooking is complete and the picture looks fab! Just need to trim, sew and bind it now. I wonder how long I’ll put that off? lol

Thanks to the wonderful woman at Sewandso, the red wool arrived this morning so I’m now able to finish my rug.
This has kinda been on the backburner for a while now, but I’m gradually getting back into it. I also emailed the woman from Sewandso who said she would find me the red wool, and she siad she never received my letter with the sample in it! Bloody Royal Mail! I’ve re-sent it so should hear from her soon. In the mean time I’m doing the other parts that I can do.
Ok, so I didn’t manage to get it finished before the deadline (17th April), but technically I couldn’t coz the extra wool I need still hasn’t arrived. However, I could have done more so that the rest was completed.
I’m still going to keep going on this…..it’s just hard to fit in all my hobbies of cross stitching, reading, decluttering and latch hook! Not to mention looking after a house and baby! lol
Fuck fuck fuck! I’m never gonna finish this on time! There’s still a fair bit to do, and thats without the bottom part of Pooh’s red jacket which I’m still waiting for SewandSo to send me the matching wool!
Despite feeling like I’m not gonna finish this by the deadline, I’m still gonna give it my best shot….afterall, it means that when I do get the extra red wool, I won’t have so much to do to complete it.
with Sewandso.co.uk who happened to buy a lot of Designer Stitches’ stock when they went out of business. They have offered to send me more of the wool if I send them a strand to colour match. What wonderful service since I didn’t even buy the kit from their website!
This is where I’m up to. Only 40 days left to complete it. I’ve got a slight problem though in that I can’t find any more of the red colour for Pooh’s top to do the left hand side. I had plenty when I started, so its gone missing! Help!
towards this now. I’m trying to make the effort to do a bit every day so that I complete it before the deadline. It could be a close one though! lol
Mark looked after Meg so I could have some chill out time so I did another 7 or 8 rows last night which I found really relaxing. I’ve discovered that now I’m nearer the top of the material, I can no longer have it on my lap, but instead I lay it out on the bed to work on it. Much easier!
