Uni and being sick took up all my time in April, so I didn’t even attempt script frenzy this year… but maybe next year?
Worth doing!
I actually gave up on the whole 87 pages in 35 hours thing yesterday, but then I decided it was too early to give up, so I kept writing… I managed to get to 61 pages by 2am yesterday, leaving the finish line in sight (sort of) when I got in from work today.
And now, 10 minutes before the deadline, I am finished! Time to party! (Or, more accurately, crawl into bed and nurse my RSI-ridden fingers until I wake up in the morning with a severe headache)
Worth doing!
lol @ myself.
Just a few days to do 70 somethin pages..naw. I did however participate and I gained something from it. I just have no desire to write out a full on 100 page script anymore, I may change it to a comic later on.
Worth doing!
Well…I could say “man I ain’t gonna make it” or I could spend all my free time until the end of the month polishing off those final 80 pages.
Decisions, decisions.
Stella is on a mission.
Worth doing!
I am participating currently, and I want to free up some space on my list, so I am marking this done. I am pretty pleased with how it is going. Getting across the finish line is less important to me than making an effort to start, at this point. Unlike NaNoWriMo, I think I might actually “win” ScriptFrenzy because script writing feels so much more natural to me, much to my surprise.
Celtx has been a great tool for this project. The formatting was the thing that worried me most before I started, but it handles that nicely.
Worth doing!
I highly recommend using Celtx, I don’t think I’d have it in me to do it in Microsoft Word. Just playing with the program and formatting tonight to learn some things, gonna start tearing into it tomorrow.
I just have way too much on my plate right now. New home, new job, new language…
Next year I’ll give it a go.
Worth doing!
So the story itself is meant to be applied to a video game rpg…but for now just for SF I’m going to keep it simple in movie or stageplay format. I’m not sure which yet though they are similar. I’m already behind, been working so much. I’ve got some characters fleshed out so now I’ve got to get writing…I blazed through Nano in two weeks on a whim, I can work this out.
That’s what happens when you don’t do any work over the mid-semester break. I have to catch up on uni before even think about this :(
