How I did it: BIRTHDAY PRESENT! we went to a recommended body piercing/tattoo shop and just told them what we wanted. Had to Do some paperwork cuz im 17. He put the recieving needle in my nose, there was some pressure and a bit of pain, but it only lasted for like one tear. it makes ur eyes water- so easy on the eyeliner! it wasnt sore or anything. no problem! |

But, if you are like me, I just had one of my friends piece it well with a hollow needle you can get at farm and fleet. then we got nose rings from wal-mart. The bonus with this piercing is that it’s all healed within a couple of weeks. My mum has it done so I know she’ll be cool with it, even if I want a ring rather than a stud.
I spend too much time hanging around bands.

i give up.. mostly because i know my line of work wont allow it and i got it done once before and i kept getting it caught on shit.. such as my fingers clothes etc..

All last week I was sick with the flu, fever, and now I’ve got this demon cough that’s ripped more than a few stomach muscles.
I wanted to get my nose pierced on my birthday, which is tomorrow, but now…I can’t believe it…I have one huge zit on the tip of my nose, and one on the side of my nose. I’m well past teenage-breakout age. I have been doing everything possible to get rid of these stupid things by Friday.
Combined with my sudden, nasty coughing…I’m not sure I can do this tomorrow. I’d hate to have a needle in my nose and break out into choking gasps. (Flu is basically gone but the post nasal drip remains.)
Sigh. I really wanted it for my birthday. :(

Hmmmm. So I’ve wanted this for YEARS but was always too chicken. Now I’m 23 and I’m to that point where I’m almost too old to have it. I feel like if you’re 25 or older it’s really time to take out a nose piercing. I feel like it’s now or never with the nose piercing thing. But I keep vascillating about whether or not I want to do it. Part of me is like “F it! Carpe Diem!” and another part of me is scared or worried, but I don’t know about what.
I was all set to do it this summer, and even told the rents. They were not thrilled w the idea but they were OK with it. Then, I don’t know, I just kept on putting it off and putting it off.
Now that I know that my place of work won’t have an issue with it, I think it might be time to just do this. Hmmm….

Is the day I get it done. Got the parental consent form thing yesterday, had my mom sign it, and got it notarized. My boss (who is also my mom’s boss) is a notary, so I asked her to do it. She hates nose rings, though, and is a very intimidating woman, so she gave me a little bit of a hard time, but she is nice, so she did it. And that’s it, tomorrow I go with my mom and friends and get my nose pierced! I’m not gonn lie, I’m a wimp about pain, and I’m nervous. But it’ll be worth it, I’m sure :D
