mandyman_2013 Don't want to do my laundry
I’ve wanted to get my nose pierced since forever! It will just represent me and what I like =)
kaylalainwonderland is trying this out...
How I did it: I dared my mother to do it with me, and we went to a local piercer to get it pierced. I was able to talk my mom into going first that way she wouldn't chicken out. She made a big deal out of it, so that made me think that it was REALLY going ot hurt. I won't lie it did hurt, and it made my eyes water. It was by far NOT the most painful piercing I have ever had though (Try the nipples!) I do not regret it, and to this day I have it, and I … Read how I did it…

How I did it: On my 18th birthday I went done to the piercing shop with my best friend and boyfriend and got it done. I had wanted it for years but my mom had always said no. She knew once I was 18 she couldn't stop me though. It was more painful than a lot of my piercings, but it was really just a pinch and some eye watering. I've had it for over 4 months now and it's completely healed. Read how I did it…

How I did it: There isn't much to the story actually. I had been thinking of getting my nose pierced for quite a while, but never really acted on the urge. One morning, after a huge fight with my fiance, I decided I would have it done. I went to the studio that I had gone to a few times before and got pierced.I was a little scared at first, as I have heard that it was a little painful. But I didn't let that stop me. The guy performing the piercing… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was soo easy and not painful at all! The guy used a piercing gun rather than a needle, so it was only 15 quid. Just walked into a piercing/tattoo parlor and it was done in minutes! woop! Read how I did it…

Pam Burnham Happy for the first time in YEARS
This was my “freedom” gift to myself for getting out of a negative and abusive marriage, a form of taking back a bit of myself and doing what I need to do to be more authentically ME.
I’ve always loved and been fascinate by body mods.. had been debating them for a couple of years, since the beginning i’ve wanted my septum done but although I want it, I don’t feel like i’m quite ready for it… so I decided on getting my nostril done instead.
I booked my appointment, this was a few weeks back, and had a trainee piercer doing my piercing.. if you’re anxious about the pain or getting a piercing, make sure you get someone fully qualified. I wasn’t nervous or expecting much pain, but the girl that did it pushed the needle through verrrry slowly and it was excrutiatingly painful D: The sharp pain only lasted 15 or 20 seconds though, and then when they fitted the jewellery it was this bizarre tugging sensation, it’s difficult to describe but you’ll have felt nothing like it before, and then it was done!
Make sure you’re happy with the placement, they draw a dot on your nose where they think it’ll look best before they do it (and they redraw and redraw it until they get it right), have a look and make sure you think it’s right too, after all it’s your nose and not theirs.
If you get it done, clean around your piercing with a cotton bud and a seasalt solution (1/4 teaspoon seasalt in a mug of hot water) and hold the cotton bud against your nose for a couple of minutes. Two days after getting it done I caught the flu.. thankfully it’s not too awkward blowing your nose even when it’s healing, you just have to watch out you don’t knock it or move it.
I love my piercing, and even if you have a painful experience like mine it’s totally worth it. As I said the pain if you get any doesn’t last long, and the adrenaline rush is great.
MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL: Do not EVER let yourself get pierced with a gun. I really don’t care how ‘nothing went wrong when your mate got their ears done with a gun at Claire’s’. Watch this video to show you the difference between gus and needles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKCW76znIwk, it’s pretty self explanitory.
I’ll be happy to answer questions any of you may have.
Next stop- other nostril, septum, and tragus :]
i am considering doing this for my birthday (5 days away)... but i feel like i am trying a little too hard to change into a new person, and maybe need to hold off on the body mods for the next little bit.
ok so im 13 and i really want my nose pierced i already have permission rom my parents and i think i might to it today. im scared of the pain and need les but from wat ive read it doesnt hurt as much as people thinki hope this is true
Bee might have a job at a little bookshop :')
hey, im getting my nose pierced tomorrow im really nervous! im getting it done with a needle, i hope the pain is okay (im worrying about it) and i hope it suits me! :)
<3
imasuperhero had a wonderful two hours of pampering :)
It’s just finding time & money, and also a way to get away with it in work. I work in McDonalds, so it’s gonna be finding jewellery that I can get away with in work to wear it.. like a decent invisible retainer.

i have 2 more pounds to lose until I can ask permission to do this goal.
younghearts summer rain
that after I lose 5 pounds, I will ask my mom for permission to get my nose pierced, and then after I lose another 5 pounds, I will get it done. That will be my motivation.

...I will reward myself with a nose piercing! :)
