When I was very young I created a website: m-class.tripod.com. Now I want to update it, and connect with paypal. It may not bring me a M-class but it will be a step.

Positives
Big Bodied Benz.
Same engine as 300D but Big body instead of small body.
5 cylinder diesel.
Cheap to buy. Parts cheap (buymbparts.com),
VERY easy to work on.
26-30mpg with 4K lb car. Steady as a rock.
Almost all repairs documented on web

Negatives
If engine goes, you throw car away
AirCond is GM made and dies every 3 years
VDO odometer guages stop at 250K
Cruise control has manf. defect. It will be broken.
window regulators may need to be fixed ($50)
Stinky clattertrap diesel. (I love em’)
Electrical has always been iffy.
Dealership $$$$

If you will do minor work like brakes and odds and ends, then this is a great car. If you want to take it to MB dealer, forget it. Go buy Toyota/Honda.

After 1985, MERCEDES SUCK. DO NOT BUY > 1985 . See consumer reports if you don’t believe me. 2007 was WORST car. Worse than hundai, worse than kia or suzuki.

I did it!!! I bought my first mercedes!!! :) Big upgrade from a honda civic!!! I love it! Life is good!!!! :) And, I’m only 32 (and I look 24)!!! Yay me!!

really is it too much to ask for?

I want to buy a Mercedes someday. I’ve known people that have owned mercedes and usually they are built pretty good not many major problems. Trouble is small problems still cost $125 an hour to get fixed, But good news is I know how to rig it to make it take a cheaper oil filter and fuel filter so not as much money going out on things that need changing regualarly.

Ok, so I have a GMC Yukon right now and it is killing me on gas. $400 a month! So I’ve decided to sell my tank and get a smaller car. My first choice is a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. I just listed my Yukon on another site so hopefully it will sell fast.
