I had to settle for a few red stripes on my socks. I had to look presentable today and I haven’t done my laundry lately, so I couldn’t just pull out something from the pile and see if it smelled okay… Still, it’s the thought that counts.
Congrats to everyone who did a better job on this goal than I did. It sounds like it made a national impact…

I wore my red turtleneck and red sweater, and red headband while riding today. It was pretty cold (mid-20s at the start), so I didn’t get to flash the red sweater until half-way through the ride, when I had warmed up enough to take off the don’t-hit-me-yellow windbreaker.
After my hot shower, I put on a red polo shirt. I plan to wear my red Betty Boop sweatshirt over that for Shabbat services tonight (as you can tell, our congregation is pretty casual!)

lob counting down to my son's play production...Tomorrow!
to the park with my kids for our homeschool group meeting. i even told a few people why I was wearing red. My 2 oldest sons also wore red today, too.
In the morning when my oldest son was at the YMCA working out, he said about 50% of the people there were wearing red, mainly red T-shirts. That’s not the usually drab workout attire there. So he figured they must have done it on purpose, though no one mentioned it to him. That was a great turn-out there, anyway!

I heard John Edwards mention at the DNC meeting that his wife was wearing red today too in honor of Go Red For Women Day today too. When I said that was the reason I wore red today, one of my coworkers said, “Good for you!”
Yay!

with my black suit and got lots of compliments. ...
Funny thing is that the agency I worked for sent out an email asking everyone to wear red today. Sadly they sent it at 5:30pm and since I work for the federal government, well most people were already gone. Crazy.

I have Feb 2 off from work. In the morning, I’m taking my daughter to The Overlake School for a tour. I was planning to use their campus as a base and go for a decent bike ride (40-50 miles), then come back and rendezvous with her at the school. We were going to come home, and then I was going to make a nice Shabbos dinner for family and friends. (See goal regarding dinner parties). Then it was off to a Tu B’Shevat related service (See goal regarding Tu B’Shevat).
So, red? If it’s cold and clear, like today, I could wear my red turtleneck on the bike. For the rest, I could wear, hm, maybe my red boiled wool jacket?
