Visit the countries my ancestors came from

my people are from puerto rico

My mother is from Switzerland and my dad was from England. I’ve now lived in Switzerland for 4 months, visited for another month, and met all my relatives there. I’ve also been to the city my dad grew up in in southern England (Hove) and stayed with his best friend and his wife! I haven’t met my Dad’s relatives over there though, he doesn’t have many and now that he is gone and my Mum hasn’t seen them since the 60’s…its a bit difficult.

Though going there made me realise that I will always be stuck between worlds as the world my ancestors left is nothing like the world that is there now. I was mistaken for an outsider.

Still it was an amazing country and I’m glad I went.

It’s a Fact!

Without your ancestors toiling throught the ages, you wouldn’t exist! So, even though we can’t relive their hardships, we should see the lands from which we came. Pay homage to them, because they did this for you and for your descendants… to give you the gift of LIFE!

I need to get to England, Scotland, Mexico, and France!
