find a good job

After 3 months of searching for a job, I finally found a decent job! Its a job as an administrative assistant at a real estate agency. I am happy I finally found a job because I can’t go to school this semester, so I just would have been sitting around and cleaning all day! So hopefully now I can save money and get a car, and finish school! Getting a job was the foundation I needed to getting a lot of my goals done! (as with anyone lol).

Well its been since april and still no job! Idk why ppl dont want to hire me! Am I that horrible =[. It’s ok…maybe something will come up eventually tear.

I will officially work with a CPA firm by September 2, 2008 only 15 minutes away from home. So that means I will get certified as a CPA a year from now and eventually become a partner maybe 5 years from now. I can’t ask for more. Thank you Lord!

The first offer actually fell through, and I wound up working at a recruitment ad agency with some really worthwhile co-workers. It wasn’t a proper fit for me, though, so I moved into teaching in February of this year.

Now THIS is a good job.

i was wasting time all these days , now the most i wanna do is to find a job. so i make my plan from this time on . i should write something , then do my thing.
i wanna sleep now, so why not going ?

After a lot of thinking I think I’ll lower my standards and try to find a part time job…but still with no nights or weekends. I think it’ll benefit me while I’m in school because now that I think of it…even tho the classes are online…It’ll still be overwhelming for me to work full time. So I think thats what I’m going to do! Wish me luck!

Well I don’t know if this one is going to happen. I might just have to wait till I get my certificate for web design next year. But right now I want to find a secretary/clerk/receptionist position. I have revised my resume and cover letter to look the best it can, I have all of skills which they are looking for…but no experience! I know that I am capable of being successful at a position like that! The problem is all of the companies require experience…but if no one hires someone with no experience then where the hell do people start!? I have also looked at which jobs were available at the 4 temp agencies here to see if they had any positions where I could gain more experience, but none of them have anything available! I have also applied to every position I have come upon that I qualify for but I never get any call backs! I live in a military area so I think that is why it is harder to find a job. I have been here for 3 mths with my husband who is the army..and that is the only thing I hate about this area! And I can’t work any type of retail because we go to his parents house in houston almost every weekend (3 hrs away), and if I work nights I wont ever see him! I’d be home, then he gets home, then I go to work, and I come home, and he is already sleepin (he goes to bed at 9), and then I wake up and do that again. I can’t do that it won’t work! He deploys early next year so I want to spend a lot of time with him! I need something full time, with a fixed schedule, working days only, with no weekends, making decent pay (at least $8 an hr)! Me and my husband are just fine with his pay, but I desperately need a job so I can get out of the house and do something productive! Can someone give me some tips!

I went through my interviews (scary), then spent 15 month “on trial” and finally I got my job.
I like it and it gives me financial security, so I can settle for it, despite not being in the country i prefer, Canada.

I guess I should clarify… a good paying job that is decent. Sounds a lot different, oh, well. Right now, my husband works so very hard to get extra money into the home. I have been unemployed for almost 90 days. I have some leads, just need some real income.

ah, the idealist resigns. really, right now, i just need a job.
