keep a visual journal

Wow so I totally love visual journaling.
Lately it’s become more of a scrapbook type of thing, but I still paint and draw sometimes too.
I recently started using it for motivational things, like pictures, and I think I’m going to put a little more emphasis on that, because I need lots of motivation and inspiration!
I also think it will be interesting to look back on it in the future.

Okay so I stumbled across a video on Youtube about art/visual journals and I am SO inspired.
My mother bought me a really nice journal in NYC a while back that I haven’t had the nerve to use yet.
I’ve tried keeping written journals before, but it always ends up abandoned.
The whole visual journal idea is really new to me, and I’m hoping it’ll stick.
Now I just have to get my parents to drive out here to give me all of my art stuff!

Well I have the first two pages of my journal done and today I am working on a third page. I am hoping to start working on a fourth as well. I just need to find the inspiration for the page.

I am getting stated on my visual journal today. I bought the art supplies that I wanted to use yesterday. I got some watercolor paper. It is loose because I want to bind my own journal when the pages are done. I also got some watercolor pencils, Sharpies, and paint brushes. I think this will get me a good start and I hope that I can post a pic of a few or at least one page today.

Have been pulling together my visual stuff! Well on my way, just gotta marry the two! :)
