Ive had hanna since i was 13 years old...

so thats about 12 years now… I call her baby, or princess, depending on my mood and she sleeps at the side of me when i go to bed. She developed diabetes about a year ago, to which we treat with injections but it seems that while i was away this weekend she seemingly went blind overnight in her right eye [as you can see on the pic] :(
My parents had taken her to the vet and apparently he told them that this is a common problem in older cats, usually associated with hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, diabetes or some other systemic illness. It being Diabetes in Hanna’s case
She seems to be getting around now a lot better now than she was but its still upsetting! :(
