And another happy note: I have paid off all of my credit card debt. I’m now debt-free, excluding my mortgage! So once this year is over, I’m going to try to save $1000 per month. :)

...Back on track! Thanks in no small part to a boost from a side project I worked on, and a timely paying client. :)
Financially, things are looking good. By the end of this month, I’ll be (credit card) debt-free, which means I’ll be able to save even more.
STUPID INFLATION!!!!!
Two weeks of groceries at $65, even though I didn’t buy anything I don’t normally buy (normally can make it for $50 or less). And due to other circumstances, I probably won’t make my $500 savings deposit this month.
I’m getting worried. The less I save, the longer I have to stay in California, because I won’t have enough money saved up to move out. :(
Well… I’m marking this as DONE. I know it’s only been a few months, but I DID DO IT. Besides, I like checking things off my list.
In addition, I’m moving from this one to two similar goals. They are: to create and stick to a budget AND to save $10,000+ by January 11, 2007.
Well….
I can’t believe how this little venture has taken off… I’m wondering if it’s seasonal. HOWEVER, in the last two months I’ve earned over my $500 per month!
Thanks to everyone for all of the support!
Avi
