Race in a regatta

and am quite rubbish, particularly at steering in a double scull, but I reckon I could hold my own in a novice four or quad, so I’ve put my name in the pot and if there’s a spare seat in a boat come August, then I might get to race at Peterborough…

I’ve had a year off of rowing due to moving, lack of funding, etc etc etc… always something. BUT, I got an email from the club today saying there’s a new novice four that needs a fourth… so I’m up for it. No more excuses. I think.

it’s the most awesome experiance my before my first one i had like 1 week of 2 a day’s that had the worst weather and the worst everything pretty much to the point where i actually had to remind my self why i love crew but it was all worth it when i placed in my first race
